Tesco worker earning £40k a month with own cam girl agency 'never going back to 9 to 5'

A former Tesco shop assistant is earning £40,000 a month after setting up her own cam girl agency.

21-year-old Latiesha Jones began camgirling when she was 19, studying for her criminology degree at the University of Salford and working as a Tesco shop assistant.

After finding herself making an 'easy' £300-an-hour, she began looking at how to set up her own agency called Latiesha's live.

Latiesha, from Manchester, said: "It was so empowering, and I loved that I could make so much from just an hour or so of speaking to someone.

"People just like to talk about their lives and it's a variety of people - from businessmen to family guys.

"Sometime they'll ask you to flash your boobs but you do what you're comfortable with."

In August 2021 she decided to give the agency a shot and set up Latiesha's live with 15 women on board.

She started a job as a carer in October 2021 - working 75 hours a week and making £1,200 a month - but continued camgirling and her agency in her spare time.

"I'd been camgirling for a while so I could advise girls what to put in their profiles and how to deal with the people ringing up," she said.

"At first, I was still working my job as a carer which was a lot of work in a week.

"I soon realised I just wanted to be focusing on camgirling and my agency - and it was financially viable."

In November 2021 Latiesha took the plunge to quit her job and take the agency full time.

"It was on a bit of a whim, but I wanted to put my time into that," she said.

"It was up and down for a while because you could be making loads one day and have a quiet one the next.

"But now we're doing really well and have had one of our best months yet."

The women only do content they are comfortable with, and Latiesha says often their clients just want a chat.

"I'll have a 30-minute chat with someone, and the payment will cover my bills for the month," she said.

"The girls do whatever they feel comfortable with - so they can stay anonymous and work as much or little as they want.

"I'm honest with them and how we are doing as a company."

Most of Latiesha's family and friends are supportive of her career choice.

"My nan loves it and she's always keen to find out more and know how the girls are doing," she said.

"My twin sister and friends are so supportive too.

"Dating wise it doesn't affect me but I do look for older guys that are open to me doing my own thing.

"I can meet who over-sexualise me because of my career- but I just stay away from them."

Latiesha is now able to work on her own time rather than being restricted to a nine to five, she said.

"I will never go back to that," she said.

"I can have a lie in or pick up some camgirling in the afternoon if I want.

"But I'm always there for the girls on my phone if they need me.

"It could be 4am but I'm there for them.

"It's a supportive community and I genuinely care about them."

Having grown her business from 15 camgirls, she now supports just under 100 women with their profiles and workload.

She takes a 10% cut from her employees.

Latiesha added: "I love the freedom of it.

"I'm never going back to a 9-5 job.

"I was just throwing the money around to start off with, but I realised that I could make camgirling my career.

"Now I work when I want to but I'm always there on my phone for the girls.

"I love giving them the advice and support they need to feel empowered as camgirls too."
