Tesco is recalling a number of Cow & Gate jars of baby food over fears the products may have been 'tampered' with.
The precautionary measure only affects 15 varieties sold in Tesco stores in the UK.
No other Cow & Gate, Tesco or branded baby products are affected.
Cow & Gate 7+ months jars sold in other retailers’ stores are also not affected.
The recall warning reads: "Cow & Gate and Tesco are voluntarily recalling 15 varieties of 7+ month Cow & Gate baby food jars (200g) sold by Tesco stores in the UK, as a precautionary measure following concerns that some jars may have been tampered with.
"Please do not feed any Cow & Gate 7+ month baby food jars 200g purchased from Tesco to your baby.
"Instead return the product to store where you purchased it for a full refund.
"Cow & Gate and Tesco apologise to parents and carers for any inconvenience caused by this recall."
The Foods Standards Agency adds: "If you have bought any of the above products do not feed them to your baby.
"Instead, return it to the Tesco store from where it was bought for a full refund.
