Dame Deborah James has announced a new partnership with Tesco, in a bid to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer.
The 40-year-old BBC star has been working tirelessly on campaigns since her diagnosis in 2016, and is currently residing at her parents' house in Woking receiving end-of-life care.
The Mirror reports that thus far, she has raised in excess of £6.7 million for Cancer Research UK with her Bowelbabe Fund - which she initially set up so people could celebrate her life by 'buying her a drink'.

And on Saturday the Dame announced a partnership with Tesco, in a bid to raise awareness of bowel cancer with signs and symptoms displayed on their Luxury Soft loo roll. The supermarket, along with with WEPA UK, will also be donating £300,000 to Bowelbabe Fund.

Revealing the news on her social media account, Deborah said that she was "very happy that this is happening".
In a post, she wrote: "I’m so proud to be exclusively partnering with @tescofood to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer on of their Luxury Soft loo roll. Together with WEPA UK they are donating £300,000 to Bowelbabe Fund for @cr_uk.
"If you’ve noticed any unusual changes to your bowel habits talk to your GP, visit a Tesco Pharmacist or see more online at Cancer Research UK (link in bio)."
Her followers flocked to comment on the post, with one writing: "You never stop Debs. You have raised so much awareness and money it is truly unbelievable and will help an incredible amount of people," while another, added: "Thank you Dame Deborah James on behalf of my late daughter who lost her life to colorectal cancer at the age of 35 in 2019. Bless you xxx."
A third wrote: "You are incredible, your strength and resilience are to be admired, you are actually my hero Dame Deb xx."
"Brilliant idea! Your love and influence will live forever," another commented.
