Police have confirmed two women were arrested following an incident in a city centre supermarket.
Officers were called to reports of a disturbance at the Tesco store at St Enoch Shopping Centre shortly before 4pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday).
Police say two women, 28 and 25, have been arrested in connection with the incident as officers continue their investigations.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.50pm on Thursday, 21 January, we were called to the report of a disturbance at Tesco Store St Enoch Shopping Centre, Glasgow.
“Officers attended and two women aged 28 and 25-years-old were arrested in connection with the incident.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
