Tesco slash the price of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream tubs to £3

Tesco has slashed the price of popular ice cream brand Ben & Jerry's.

The supermarket giant has knocked 30% off the price of the £4.50 tubs, bringing the price down to £3 - a saving of £1.50.

The deal includes three of the ice cream brand's most popular flavours - Cookie Dough, Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Phish Food and the offer can be picked up in stores or online at tesco.com .

Along with the sweet treats there are a number of other wallet-friendly grocery deals on right now, as the supermarket giant cuts the price of a range of seasonal items as part of its ‘Weekly Little Helps’ deals.

Other offers include three for £10 on large Easter eggs , which includes favourites from Nestle and Cadbury and the giant Kinder Surprise egg . There's also two for £2 on Tesco Finest hot cross buns as shoppers start prepping for the long Easter weekend.

Tesco is selling a five tier wedding cake made of cheese - and it's only £30

The deal follows a number of other spring-time offers customer have been snapping up. Bargain-hunters eagerly snapped up Tesco's great value 1kg packs of strawberries last week, which were being sold for £4.

But it's not just groceries that are featured in the retailer's timely price cuts, the chain has also launched a huge half price sale on children's toys .

The offers, which include Barbie, Lego and Paw Patrol items can be picked up in store and online at tesco.com until 25 April.
