Tesco shoppers will now notice a welcome change to its home delivery service.
The supermarket giant has announced that its much-loved Delivery Saver plan will be returning - a move which will make it easier for Tesco's most loyal customers to secure a slot of their choosing.
In an email to customers, Tesco wrote: "As you know, we suspended Delivery Saver payments in April, which allowed us to support 580,000 vulnerable customers with 1.1million orders. We couldn't have done this without your patience and understanding."
The email continued: "We’re now planning to restart Delivery Saver plans from 1 July."
Tesco has also changed its maximum item restriction for deliveries. At the start of lockdown, the supermarket had lowered its maximum item number for any home delivery to 80. Shoppers are now able to order a maximum of 85 items.
What is a Tesco Delivery Saver plan?
Tesco says: "Instead of trying to choose the best value delivery slot each time you order, a Delivery Saver plan means you can choose any available slot that suits you, regardless of price."
