Shoppers were left terrified after a pair of armed men stole cash from outside a Tesco store in broad daylight.
Security officers transferring cash to the Tesco store on Wavertree High Street were approached two men, armed with a gun and a knife, who demanded they hand over the cash.
The two men made threats to the security officers before making off with a quantity of cash.
Neither of the security officers were injured in the incident but were left shaken by the robbery.

The terrifying incident occurred on the morning of Saturday 19th October 2019.
Now, police have issued photos of a man they want to speak to in connection with the robbery.

The man pictured is wearing a black hooded coat and a is wearing a cap underneath.
Anthony Molloy, 56, of Access Road, Liverpool, has been charged in connection with the robbery. He will appear in court for trial on 29 June 2020.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We have issued images of a man we want to trace following a cash in transit robbery in Liverpool in October last year.
"At 11.30am on Saturday 19th October two security officers were at the Tesco store on the High Street in Wavertree when they were approached to by two males, one armed with a knife and one armed with a gun, who made threats before making off with a quantity of cash.
"Neither of the security officers were injured during the incident but were left shaken by their ordeal.
"We have issued images of a man who we believe could assist with our investigation."
