A Tesco shopper noticed that the supermarket was selling tubs of ice cream for just 40p, and was quick to share the news online with other consumers.
The chain stocks Tutti Frutti Ice Cream in certain stores, and with the sun set to shine in Glasgow for the next five days it's the perfect time to pick some up.
According to the tub, the product consists of "strawberry and mango ice cream, topped with tropical sugar pieces".

Temperatures are set to reach as high as 16 degrees Celsius in the coming days, and so the frozen treat is a great way to cool off.
The customer who noticed the product quickly shared a photo in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group alongside the caption: "40p in Tesco".
It wasn't long before the post attracted over 50 likes and more than 50 comments from fellow consumers sharing their thoughts.
Many were excited about the cheap fruity product.
One said: "Mmmm sounds good".
"Bet kids would like," a second suggested.
A third revealed: "I've just seen it, might have to grab one lol".
"I fancy this," echoed a fourth.
Meanwhile a fifth shared: "Will have to have a look".

However, not everyone was so keen on the product — with some unsatisfied customers criticising its taste.
One commented: "Dunno how they can call it tutti fruity ice cream, very poor, nothing like the best tutti fruity ice cream gino gineli, shame you can't get that anymore. No creaminess at all plain mango and strawberry with a bit sauce and some green candy bits on top."
"It’s not very nice I wouldn’t buy it again no taste," a second revealed.
A third went even further, writing: "It's disgusting too sweet".
