Tesco shoppers can now pay a lot less by using one simple trick

Tesco shoppers could save a small fortune by doing one simple thing.

The retailer's Clubcard loyalty scheme has been popular with shoppers for years, and each point is worth 1p to spend at Tesco.

Five hundred points becomes a £5 Clubcard voucher, which Tesco sends out automatically four times a year, provided you have at least 150 points.

Shoppers can also swap these vouchers for money-off tokens for days out, holidays and more.

And there's now another huge bonus to being a Clubcard member - and it comes in the way of saving pounds off your shopping.

The supermarket giant now offers "Clubcard Prices", these are exclusive deals for members, both in-store and online.

The deals are available in all stores, but you must have a Clubcard to get them.

Prices will be clearly marked in-store with a yellow Clubcard price label, while online products will show the regular price and the Clubcard price.

One Tesco shopper told the ECHO she saved £12.62 from a £40 shop by using her Clubcard this week.

The shopper saved £7.50 on a bottle of Baileys, as well as receiving money off mince pies, tubs of chocolates, pizza, and fruit and vegetables.
