Tesco changed its hours over the Christmas period and it will be the same again over New Year with different opening times for different kinds of stores.
Christmas is out of the way now but the festivities of the festive season aren't over yet as New Year is now fast approaching, with supermarkets across the country bracing themselves for a busy time of things yet again as people get last minute bits and pieces in for their New Year's Eve parties.
However, it is worth pointing out that, unlike on Christmas Day, when all the supermarkets were shut, many will in fact be open on New Year's Day - Wednesday, January 1.
