Tesco Mobile teams up with charity to reconnect homeless this Christmas

Christmas is always the busiest time of year for homeless charities, but 2020 brings significant challenges due to the ongoing impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

For the first time, Crisis will be offering their Christmas services differently this year, with a focus on providing services for people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness - digitally.

Continuing a two-year partnership to help reconnect thousands of people to society, Tesco Mobile and Crisis are combining forces to help make that happen.

They are raising money to fund phones and digital connection for those who need it most to ensure that Crisis can continue to be there for people throughout the festive season over the phone or internet.

Together, Tesco Mobile and Crisis have launched the Christmas (SIM) Card.

The virtual Christmas cards, symbolic of giving the gift of connection, can be bought from £5 exclusively from the Crisis Shop to Stop Homelessness website and will fund phones, devices and connectivity for Crisis’ Christmas guests.

Tesco Mobile has also pledged to match funds generated by the campaign.

All proceeds from the cards will go towards funding phones, devices and connectivity for Crisis’ Christmas guests.
