A Tesco delivery lorry managed to get wedged in down a small street for around 12 hours yesterday (May 12). The articulated vehicle was stuck on a side street in Bristol, blocking the road completely.
The supermarket giant's lorry arrived around 6am on Thursday and residents said last night it had been stuck there ever since. Police arrived at the scene to help free the lorry.
An operation to free the lorry for the narrow streets was underway after it was believed the driver used this route as a shortcut. This incident occurred because of a temporary closure to the M32 junction because of ongoing roadworks, reported BristolLive.

The driver left Avonmouth with his lorry full of groceries to be delivered to Tesco stores around the Bristol area. However, his wrong turn left him stuck for the day.
One local resident said, before the lorry had been freed: "I should imagine it's going to be quite a while before it's moved as it was a real head scratcher. "
