Tesco launches 'secret sale' where shoppers can get bargains as low as 4p

Tesco shoppers have been managing to pick up some surprise bargains in-store - with some of their items scanning at just 4p.

Those who have managed to pick up the bargains have only found out about the incredible savings once they scan their items at the checkout.

After picking up the bargains they have flocked to social media to let other shoppers know about the incredible savings they have managed to make.

Most of the items that are already on sale is old stock from Christmas that the supermarket looks to be getting trying to clear out.

Shoppers can find the reduced items by looking for red stickers and a large amount of items reduced have been kids clothing, much to the delight of parents.

Many parents have been sharing their bargain finds on the Facebook page Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

One shopper picked up a 9-12 months dress and tights set in a festive Tatty Teddy print from the supermarket, reports The Mirror.

It was marked down from £15 to £6 but ended up scanning at the tills for just 4p.

Another 4p bargain was a Minnie Mouse trouser set that was initially reduced from £14 to £8.

Writing in the popular Facebook page, one parent wrote: "Got the cutest Christmas dress to save for next year! Was £15, reduce to £6 but scanned at 4p from Tesco!”

Another parent said: "This kids Xmas jumper from Tesco was reduced from £10 to £1 but it scanned through the till at 4p! Safe to say, I'm very happy with that."

A third added: "Mini Mouse knitted jumper and trouser sets were £14, reduced to £8, scanned at 4p each!

“That's 16p for what would have cost £56… I picked up four for my mummy friends at baby group.”

While a fifth wrote: "Tesco bargain 4p. This was priced at full price, so decided to scan as saw it was a Christmas one

As this is leftover Christmas stock, it is worth checking in with your local Tesco store to see if they are running the same and what prices and items have been reduced.
