Tesco issues warning to thousands of customers over Clubcard vouchers

Thousands of Tesco customers have missed out on discounts after a warning was issued over the expiry of vouchers.

The UK's largest supermarket gave customers a new cut off date of August 31 to use these money-saving coupons.

However, now September has arrived, many of these cannot yet be used and people have missed out.

The rewards, which were due to expire in February, were given a six month extended lifeline due to the pandemic, meaning customers were able to use them after the national lockdown period.

The last batch of vouchers that were due to expire in May have also been given an extension so that shoppers can use them anytime before November.

The Clubcard scheme is aimed at rewarding customers for how much money they spend in Tesco stores, with 1 point accumulated for every £1 spent.

The vouchers can be used at a wide range of high street restaurant chains like Pizza Express, Zizzi and Bella Italia.

Alternatively, you can use the vouchers on days out with West Midlands Safari Park and the Eden Project both attractive propositions.
