Tesco is recalling packs of its Tesco Finest Taleggio 200g because they may contain Listeria monocytogenes.
The recall affects packs with a use by date of 25 January 2021.
"Please do not consume this product, but return the affected product to store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required," Tesco said in a notice for customers.
Listeria monocytogenes can cause flu-like symptoms including high temperatures, muscle ache or pain, chills, feeling or being sick and diarrhoea.
Those over 65, pregnant women and babies less than one month old - as well as people with weakened immune systems - are more at risk from the bactieria.
Tesco apologised to customers for any "inconvenience" caused by the the product recall.

It's not the only product update by the supermarket either.
Tesco also said it was also warning people about its own brand coconut and lemongrass sauce.
"We’ve been made aware that some packs of Tesco coconut and lemongrass sauce, which follow a recipe that has since been updated, may contain fish sauce. However, fish sauce is not labelled as an ingredient on tesco.com," the supermarket said.
"As a result, this product is temporarily unavailable."
It added that all products bought in store were labelled correctly, so the issue only affects people who bought the sauce online.
"If you don’t eat fish, please check the ingredients listed on the packaging," Tesco said.
"These are correct and will list fish sauce, if it is present."
