Tesco has released an important message for all of its shoppers who have a Clubcard.
The supermarket's points scheme card allows customers access to exclusive offers and deals, in order to save money on their weekly shop.
And now cardholders will be offered a boost in January, with special double points coupons, Edinburgh Live reports.
After a very expensive December for many, the supermarket has made the move to make the start of the year a bit easier on its shoppers.
In a message to Clubcard customers, Tesco said: "To help kick-start your January and boost your points balance, we're giving you an exclusive double points coupon to use when you shop in-store or online.
"You can find your coupon in the Tesco Grocery and Clubcard app – the home of Clubcard. It's also the easiest way to shop, save, collect points and spend your vouchers all in one place.
"Thanks for shopping with us – and for being a Clubcard member."
