Tesco shoppers are being urged to check their cupboards for a certain packet of biscuits after a health and safety warning was issued.
The British supermarket chain has urgently recalled a batch of their own-branded digestive biscuits after it was found they may contain small pieces of metal.
The Mirror reports that the recall for the £1.30 Tesco Free From Digestives (160g) was issued by The Food Standards Agency (FSA) on Friday, April 8.
Shoppers are being urged to look for a packet of the biscuits with an end date of March 2023, which is the affected batch.
The supermarket has urged anyone who has purchased the biscuits not to eat them and to return them to store immediately for a full refund, with or without a receipt.

A statement on the FSA website reads: "This product may contain small pieces of metal which makes it unsafe to eat."
It continued: “If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.”
You won’t need a receipt to get your money back.
Worried customers who’ve purchased the biscuits are being advised to contact Tesco on its customer services hotline on 0800-505-555.
Point of sale notices have been provided in all stores that have sold the affected batch. The notices explain to customers why the product has been recalled.
News of the product recall comes after the supermarket also had to pull a batch of Trewithen Dairy Unsalted Butter for containing "high levels of E.coli bacteria."
