Tesco is urgently recalling a popular condiment from all of its stores

Tesco is recalling one of its own-brand condiments.

The supermarket has issued a statement on its website, stating the reason the sauce is being pulled off shelves.

Tesco’s 50 percent Less Fat Salad Cream is being recalled because the bottles contain milk, which is not mentioned on the label.

It means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or constituents.

They are also not suitable for people who follow a plant-based diet, the Express reports.

The best before dates affected are June 2022.

Tesco’s salad cream comes in a pack 450ml in size and all batches are affected.

If you’ve bought the affected product, do not consume it if you have an allergy or intolerance to milk or follow a vegan diet.

Instead, return it to a Tesco store, where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.

For further information, please contact Tesco Customer Services on 0800 505 555 (UK) or 1800 248 123 (ROI).
