Tesco is selling Silentnight teddy fleece duvet sets for just £6

With the cold winter weather and flood alerts expected to continue all weekend, there's no better time to stay in bed.

And if you want to take the duvet day one step further, there's no duvet cover more snuggly than the new teddy ones that are hitting stores right now.

Just in time for winter, Tesco has slashed the price of its Silentnight teddy fleece sets from £25 to just £6.25.

If you weren't sure how much of a bargain Tesco's £6.25 price tag is... the exact same sets are selling on Amazon for £30.49 right now.

The stock is being discontinued apparently (Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK)

Originally spotted by The Sun, sadly, they're not available online on the Tesco website, so you can only get them in selected Tesco stores. If you aren't already planning to pop in, it may be worth ringing up your local branch beforehand, to see if they're in stock, as the deal is apparently due to the stock being discontinued.

Elsewhere on the internet, the same duvet sets will set you back at least £10, with Wowcher being the cheapest place to stock them right now, where prices start at £9.99.

Dunelm is second cheapest, where the teddy duvet sets are between £11 and £15, depending on what size you want (including single, double and kingsize).

Wayfair also have teddy duvet sets in an array of different colours, although theirs will cost you around the £35 mark.

Tesco's bargain duvet sets were originally spotted by bargain hunters on Facebook deals page Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, where the poster claimed she had come across the sets in both pink or grey options.

The news has since racked up almost 5,000 comments, as excited shoppers consider getting their hands on the snuggly set for less.
