As the supermarket has just started selling pre-cooked pigs in blankets that are ready to eat right out the pack.
Costing £2 for the packet, the ready to eat pigs in blankets are already for sale in Tesco stores all across the nation, as well as on the Tesco website.
Far from the only unique pigs in blankets number Tesco has launched this Christmas, the supermarket has also just started selling chicks in blankets, also £2, which use chicken cocktail sausages rather than pork.
Originally spotted by shoppers, a photo of the intriguing new addition was quickly posted to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, and was met with a lot of excited comments.
Sally Keys commented saying "Wow!! I'll definitely be buying some of these on Saturday", followed by Scott Hiscock who said "Game changer!!"
Meanwhile, Stephanie Wakeman was not as keen, stating "No no no. The best bit of pigs in blankets is burning your mouth and the crispy bits!"
Whether you plan to eat them on the go when the cravings start, or just want to speed up the cooking time of the usual ones, with these only needing ten minutes or so in the oven to crisp up.
