There may still be a national lockdown in place but that isn’t stopping supermarkets from stocking up on seasonal items to tempt customers doing an essential food shop.
Shelves are currently filled with products to help everyone celebrate Pancake Day, Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day, there’s also an impressive showing of Easter Eggs on display in some of the bigger supermarkets.
Easter is on Sunday, April 4 this year, but for chocolate lovers and those looking to save some money, Tesco has already dropped the price on a few in its range, making it easier to stock up ahead of the big day - if you can resist the temptation to ‘taste test’ them.
The popular supermarket is selling a selection of Nestle medium-sized Easter Eggs for just 75p, but there’s a catch.
Hull Live reports that the offer is for Tesco Clubcard holders only, giving members a 25p reduction on the original £1 price tag.
Chocolate fans can choose from Smarties, KitKat Chunky, Aero and Rolo eggs in the cracking offer.
Shoppers can also buy a selection of large eggs for £3, including Yorkie, Munchies and Terry's Chocolate Orange.
Elsewhere, B&M has recently launched an Easter decorations collection with prices starting from just £1.
The range features bunny-shaped table accessories, egg wreaths, Happy Easter balloons and decorative eggs.
The pastel-coloured range is available to buy in selected B&M stores now.
