When it comes to kids toys, there's one item that just seems to transcend all generations: LEGO.
And it's perfect timing to stock up, considering that Tesco has just slashed the price of loads of its LEGO sets by 50% as part of a huge toy sale.
So far we've spotted the LEGO value pack for £22.50 rather than its usual £45, as well as Burger Bar Fire Rescue set for £12.50 (previously £25) and Olivia's Cupcake Cafe, also £12.50 (was £25).
The offers are only available in Tesco stores, with some smaller items such as all the LEGO items above also available online on the supermarkets website .
But LEGO isn't the only best-selling item in the discount event, with other stand out savings including an EVO+ All Terrain Scooter which is on sale for £40 instead of its usual £80; a Peppa Pig My 1st Kitchen, now £30 down from £60 and a Silverlit Stunt Drone down to £25 from £50. For anyone looking to get their little one a first bike for Christmas, we also spotted a Volt Quad Boy’s Bike, down from £70 to £35.
There's 115 toys in total in the offer, with the sale running for one month up until November 3rd in up to 575 Tesco Superstores and Extra stores, having only launched yesterday.
Tesco Toy Category manager Anne Borrett said: “We know that for families with more than one child, Christmas can be quite a strain on the wallet so we want to make it easier for them to spread the cost of buying presents.
“We’ve chosen some of the most popular and latest toys for children of all ages with big name brands such as Lego, Hot Wheels, Barbie and Paw Patrol – all at half price!”
