Tesco is selling huge mega boxes of 100 Jaffa Cakes for just £3

As much as we love a Jaffa Cake, we reckon it would take us quite a while to make our way through 100.

But if you're up to the challenge, Tesco have just launched the deal of the year for you, having just started selling mega boxes of 100 Jaffa Cakes for £3.

Working out at 3p per biscuit (or cake, depending on which side you're on), that's a whole 7p cheaper per biccy than the next cheapest Jaffa Cakes out there, which sell for £1 for a pack of 10 at Tesco.

Spotted by a bargain hunter in Tesco's St Rollox Tesco Extra store in Glasgow last week, there's no guarantee that the same offer is available at other Tesco stores across the UK.

News of the bargain Jaffa Cakes haul was originally posted on Facebook page Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group, although so far we've not witnessed any fellow Tesco shoppers snapping up the same deal elsewhere.

If you don't have a Tesco near you, Amazon are also selling the 100-biscuit mega box, but for £10.99 . So it would actually work out cheaper simply buying ten individual packs and saving yourself 99p.

Or considering Jaffa Cakes often go down to 50p per pack, you could even just wait until then to pick up 10 boxes for a fiver.

There's no word on the expiry date of the Jaffa Cake Megaboxes discovered in the Glasgow Tesco's, but being a biscuit, they'll still taste just as good for some time after. Thank god they're not a cake...
