It may only be August, but product releases for Christmas 2019 are now coming thick and fast.
First there was Asda's release , which included the likes of a giant penguin cake and an oversized pig in a blanket.
Then there was the news that Galaxy Truffles have returned ahead of the festive period - a comeback which has been celebrated amongst chocaholics.
And now Tesco has revealed a Christmas product that is set to divide the nation - vegan battered Brussels sprouts.

Tesco's official product description reads: "Whole sprouts get a party makeover, with a light, crispy, golden batter. Served with the accompanying cranberry dip, they’re the perfect balance of sweet and savoury."
The sprout bites are set to go on sale in-store and online from 9th December - so if you're already foaming at the bit at the thought of trying them, you'll have to wait a bit.
Unsurprisingly, Twitter has been completely divided over the sprout dish, and nobody really knows what to think.
"It's a no from me," wrote one critic, responding to the news.
Somebody else added: "Think I’ll give those a miss."
However, others were more keen on the idea, as one Twitter user explained: "My northern pals tell me they batter mars bars ... so this is tame in comparison but may persuade the sprout averse to tuck in!"
The rest of Tesco's Christmas menu looks rather less divisive. Here are some of the highlights you can expect to see hitting shelves in the coming months:
Tesco 12 Mozzarella & Pesto Arancini Balls (180g) - £3
Tasty Italian-style risotto balls made from mozzarella and pesto coated in crunchy parsley breadcrumbs. In store and online from 14th October.
Tesco Chicks in Blankets (222g) - Prices available in December
Twelve lightly-seasoned British chicken sausages hand-wrapped with beechwood smoked streaky bacon. A tasty twist on the traditional pork version and the perfect Christmas party nibble. In store and online from December.
Tesco Finest Chorizo Style Pigs in Blankets (210g) - Prices available in December
Chorizo-style British pork sausages with smoked red peppers, paprika and garlic, handwrapped in dry-cured, oak-smoked streaky bacon rashers. A Spanish twist on the classic pig in blanket. In store and online from December.
Tesco Finest Create Your Own Drunken Cheese (250g) - £3
Creamy White Stilton cheese blended with candied orange peel and ready to infuse with red wine, port or even gin. Just add 80ml of your chosen alcohol and steep for 24 hours before serving. The soft citrus notes complement the alcohol and give the cheese a delicious and unique flavour. In store and online from 18th November.
Tesco Finest 8 Barbacoa Beef Tacos (260g) - £5
Eight mini-sized crispy maize tacos packed with tender pulled beef, in a rich, spicy Barbacoa-style sauce and topped with tangy pickled red onion. In store and online from 9th December.
Tesco Finest Passionfruit Bites (200g) - £4
New for Christmas 2019 Eight bite-sized squares of baked passionfruit cheesecake layered on top of a digestive biscuit base, finished with passion fruit glaze and silver dusting. In store and online from 11th December.
