Over the next few months, Tesco will be implementing blanket changes across all of its stores nationwide. The changes will impact every shopper that uses a Clubcard - of which there are more than 20 million.
On April 18, Tesco will be axing one of its most popular features. From this date, shoppers will no longer be able to use the Tesco Clubcard app. As well as this, from June 14, the amount of Clubcard points shoppers will receive for spending in store will dramatically decrease.
Alongside the following Clubcard changes, the supermarket has also upped the cost of its minimum order spend and the fee for orders under this amount.

Shoppers will need to know about the upcoming changes set to be introduced in the next few months as they will affect the perks they get with their Clubcard membership.
Tesco Clubcard app to close in April
The Tesco Clubcard app, which lets you scan a digital version of your Clubcard as well as view and spend your vouchers, is closing down on April 18. Shoppers will have to instead download the revamped Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app if they want to keep using a digital version of their Clubcard.
This is free to download on Android and iPhone, and you will be able to log into your Tesco account and scan your app as usual. It comes after Tesco closed down its Pay+ app on February 27.
This app lets you store your credit or debit card and Clubcard details which is now a function that is available on the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app, says the Mirror.
Value of Clubcard points with Reward Partners to be reduced
Tesco shoppers will get less money for their Clubcard points when redeemed with a Rewards Partner from June 14. Shoppers will only double the value of their Clubcard points, rather than triple them as now.
Tesco currently has over 100 Rewards Partners such as brands like Pizza Express, Legoland, Alton Towers, Cineworld and Hotels.com. When shoppers collect Clubcard points, they can be converted into Tesco vouchers to use in the supermarket, with each point worth 1p in-store.
This means 500 points are worth £5. However, when points are exchanged for codes to spend with a Rewards Partners, they are worth 3p – so 500 points gets you £15 instead.
From June 14, the points will be converted to be 2p each, totalling up to £10 for 500 points. Tesco said the latest change would help it maintain a wide range of Clubcard rewards.
Reduced Clubcard points for filling up petrol
Alongside the reduced value for its Rewards scheme, Tesco will also be reducing the amount of points you can get when you will up your car at its forecourts. Currently, motorists are awarded one point for every £2 they spend on fuel.
However, from June 14 you'll collect one point for every two litres of fuel you buy instead of one point for every £2 you spend. The current average cost of a litre of unleaded in the UK is 146.38p, according to the RAC, so two litres cost roughly £2.92.
That means the majority of people will be getting less Clubcard value from buying fuel. The change excludes Esso filling stations with a Tesco Express store.
For Tesco Bank customers, the number of points you collect will also depend on whether you use your card to collect points for fuel, to pay for fuel, or both.
