Tesco Ireland launch huge Easter Egg deal but have a catch to stop greedy customers

Tesco have launched their annual Easter Egg promotions with chocolate treats flying up on shelves with bargain price tags.

The current offer in stores across Ireland is three small eggs for €3, but people trying to bulk buy aren't being allowed.

Quotas are being placed on the promotion to stop people buying too many and potentially leaving shops out of stock.

One Tesco store has a maximum of 15 eggs per person while others have followed suit with their own caps.

A Tesco spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "To ensure availability for all we regularly place quotas on promotional items."

The supermarket giant isn't the only shop flogging Easter Eggs at the moment with Lidl, Aldi, Dunnes and more all starting to fill shelves with the seasonal treats.
