Tesco Ireland change services at shops in 10 locations around the country

Tesco Ireland has updated its click and collect services at 10 locations around the country.

Five places now have increased click and collect capacity which means more slots for customers.

While five others have newly introduced the scheme , where only in store shopping and home delivery was previously available.

A Tesco spokesperson said: "The expanded services will see brand-new collection points and additional slots becoming available for customers across the country.

"Tesco grocery home shopping services, whether home delivery or by collection, have seen unprecedented demand during the pandemic, and the company has worked hard to respond to help those customers most in need. 

"To date, measures undertaken have resulted in thousands of additional slots being made available to customers nationwide, through home delivery and now through click and collect."

The new click and collect services and changes began on Friday at the stores listed below.

New click and collect sites

  • Cavan: Bailieborough
  • Cork: Ballincollig
  • Galway: Galway Shopping Centre, Headford Road and Ballinasloe 
  • Tipperary: Clonmel and Nenagh stores, and
  • Wexford: Gorey.

Expanded slots at existing click and collect sites

  • Cork: Wilton
  • Kerry: Killarney
  • Limerick: Coonagh
  • Louth: Drogheda and Dundalk Extra stores, and
  • Mayo: Castlebar.
