Tesco has these new car parking rules amid the coronavirus lockdown

Over the last few weeks, Tesco hasn't been shy about implementing new Lockdown rules and policies.

From limiting the number of people who can come into the store at once, to introducing protective screens and hand sanitiser around the store.

But now Tesco has decided to also implement some rules which will see shoppers change the way they use the supermarket car park.

Help parking

"To help limit the number of people in-store, when you arrive, we may help you park your car," Tesco said.

Queuing in cars

The store explained: "If it's raining or particularly cold, we may ask you to stay in your car to queue – we'll let you know when you can come in."

Floor markings

Tesco stated: "Floor markings in our car parks will help you to keep a safe distance when queuing."
