Tesco has made a major change to its Click + Collect service meaning it'll cost less for customers

Supermarket giant Tesco has cut the cost of one of its most popular services.

It has cut the cost of  Click+Collect purchases to £25 instead of £40  , meaning lots more shoppers will now be able to avoid the £4 minimum charge that automatically gets added on., reports MirrorOnline.

The convenient service is ideal for customers who don't have time to browse the aisles at their local store but want to select their grocery items at home and pick up from store when it suits them best.

When using the service Tesco customers can opt for any of the two-hour pickup slots available evry day from collection points across the UK.

For those who are feeling really organised, there is the option of booking a Click+Collect delivery up to three weeks in advance.

1. Sign into your Tesco account

Customers will need to sign into their Tesco account online at tesco.com/groceries or via the Tesco groceries app.

2. Pick a slot

Select a Click+Collect slot that is convenient for you at any one of the 300 Tesco store locations across the UK.

3. Spend £25 or more

Shop as normal, spending a minimum of £25 to avoid being charged the £4 minimum basket fee.

4. Collect your shopping

Arrive at your chosen store at the designated time to collect your shopping - you won't even need to venture in store, and Tesco staff will help load the shopping into your car too.
