Tesco drops price of Quality Street, Celebrations and more with many shoppers stocking up for Christmas

Shoppers are already stockpiling for Christmas - especially when it comes to chocolate.

Tesco is making it easier for many this week as it drops prices on festive favourites Quality Street, Roses, Celebrations and Heroes.

The large 400G share bags are currently on sale in-store and online for £2.50 and shoppers are taking advantage by stocking up for Christmas .

Each year supermarkets battle it out for the lowest prices around the Christmas period - and it looks like Tesco is getting ahead of the game.

Customers have been sharing the news of the sale, which sees the chocolates drop from £3.50 to £2.50, in Facebook bargain groups and many have commented that they’ll be visiting their local stores to snap up the offer.

According to Tesco’s website, the deal is available until August 27.

Many shoppers have already made a start on - or in some cases finished - their Christmas shopping, including one mum who managed to bag £238 worth of toys for £20 .
