Tesco bakery sign leaves shoppers in hysterics after spotting 'wild' spelling error

A Tesco bakery sign had social media users in stitches this week after one eagle-eyed shopper spotted an awkward mistake.

Posting on Reddit, the user RevolvingCatflap shared an image of an A4 piece of paper, which said: "Sorry, no bakery. Due to staff shortage." So far, so normal.

Instead of the customary "apologies for any inconvenience", however, the sign said: "Apology for any incontinence."

One person joked: “Tesco really are taking the p***.”

Another user noted: “Only a single apology as well."

A third added: “God I hope that was intentional.”

Someone else stated: “Tesco bakery is wild.”

A Tesco spokesperson told the Daily Star: “A very unfortunate but amusing typo – we are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused though.”
