Supermarket giant Tesco has vowed to keep all stores open over Bank Holiday Monday, but the retailer advises that opening hours may vary from store to store.

Bank Holiday Monday opening hours at a glance
Monday 26 August - Stores in England and Wales will open from 9am to 6pm. All Tesco Metro stores will also open from 9am to 6pm and all Express stores open normal hours. In London and Scotland, Extra and Superstore branches will open from 8am to 10pm.
Shoppers will also be glad to know all Petrol filling stations stores will be open as normal over the long weekend too (unless there is a local trade restriction).
For the bank holiday, Tesco has also slashed the price of a lot of its one litre spirits to £16, including Greenalls wild berry pink gin, famous grouse whisky, barcardi rum and bombay sapphire dry gin, all usually £19 - £19.50 each.
