As fuel prices keep rising, many of us are keen to know where our cheapest local options are.
Amid the cost of living crisis, experts have rushed to share how people can make their fuel last longer, while many drivers have taken to social media to express their concern over increasing costs. It's one more thing Brits can expect to pay more for as the cost of living crisis hits households hard.
Figures from data firm Experian Catalyst show the average cost of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts on Monday was 163.7p. This takes the cost of filling a typical 55-litre family car with petrol above £90 for the first time.

PetrolPrices.com has a handy tool that allows drivers to find the cheapest fuel near them. The ECHO has today (Friday) rounded up the cheapest places to get petrol and diesel in and around Liverpool.
Petrol
- Costco Liverpool priced at 153.9p (exclusive to Costco members)
- Esso Northway (Maghull) and Shell Northway (Maghull) are both priced at 158.9p
- Asda Bootle, Strand Road; Asda Walton; Asda Bootle, Orrell Lane; Asda Aintree; Morrisons Belle Vale; Morrisons Kirkby; and Morrisons Speke are all priced at 160.7p
Diesel
- Costco Liverpool priced at 161.7p (exclusive to Costco members)
- Esso Northway (Maghull) and Shell Northway (Maghull) are both priced at 169.9p
- Asda Arrowe Park; Morrisons Belle Vale; Morrisons Kirkby; and Morrisons Speke are all priced at 170.7p
- Applegreen, Great Howard Street, priced at 170.8p
- Esso Brewster Street (Bootle) and Shell Whitby Road (Ellesmere Port) are both priced at 170.9p
