Tesco, Asda, Aldi, Morrisons and Waitrose warnings as shoppers told not to eat some chocolate eggs

Major supermarkets across the country are urgently recalling a number of Easter products.

Safety warnings have been issued in recent weeks by chains like Asda, Tesco, Waitrose and Morrisons. Customers have been urged not to eat certain products but to return them to the store for a full refund instead. You do not need to have a receipt to get your money back, the Liverpool Echo reports.

When a product is recalled, for any reason, the Food Safety Agency (FSA) shares details on what you should do if you have bought the item. They also provide detailed information on why the product is being pulled from shelves.
