Tesco, Asda, Aldi, Lidl, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and more Jubilee bank holiday opening times

No doubt many people will be stocking up on food and drink well ahead of this weekend's extended four-day Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday. But, if you need something over the weekend itself, you might find that opening times are different to usual, reports the Mirror.

The times below will apply on the bank holidays on Thursday and Friday. Saturday and Sunday hours are set to be as normal.

Tesco

Tesco hasn't announced any changes to its hours for the bank holiday weekend as yet. However, it's expected that most stores will open between 8am and 6pm - its usual bank holiday hours - across 4,000 stores.

You can check the opening times of your local Tesco using its store locator tool.

Asda

Based on previous opening hours during bank holidays, the supermarket giant is likely to be open from 8am instead of 7am and close at 8pm compared with 10pm or midnight like usual. Exact times will be available from the brand's store locator here before the Jubilee.

Sainsbury's

Sainsbury's is expected to open between 7am and 9pm, a slight reduction in normal hours. Normally, shops are open from 7am to 11pm.

Aldi and Lidl

Aldi will be operating its normal bank holiday times, which are 8am to 8pm across all stores nationwide. Meanwhile, Lidl is also expected to follow the same pattern.

Morrisons

Morrisons is set to be open as normal over the bank holiday, meaning shoppers can browse between 6am and 11pm at most outlets. You can confirm opening times during the weekend by using their shop locator tool.

Marks & Spencer

During the last bank holiday, M&S was open 7am to 8pm across its UK branches and is expected to follow the same pattern during the Jubilee.

Waitrose

Most shops will be operating at their normal hours during the bank holiday, meaning stores will be open from 8am to 10pm, while some Little Waitrose shops opening from 7am until 10pm.

Iceland

Customers will be able to shop in-store from 8am to 9pm, assuming the supermarket follows the same hours as the last bank holiday.
