The Tesco website and app have gone down for the entirety of the day after an unknown bug hit the retailer.
The incident has caused hundreds of shoppers problems with people unable to complete their weekly grocery selection.
Tesco posted on Twitter: "We're experiencing an issue with our website and app and are working hard to get things back up and running. We apologise for any inconvenience."

According to Downdetector, a service that monitors service outages, hundreds of reports of problems have been received all day since 7am and have reached a new peak as of 7pm this evening.
The website has been down since 9am, and there is currently no timeframe for the issue to be fixed reports Wales Online.
Many customers are now cancelling their standing orders with Tesco as they are unable to amend them online prior to them being delivered.

It has been confirmed that deliveries will not be affected by the website and app crash, however booked deliveries cannot currently be amended.
Customers who no longer want items in their shop and cannot edit this on the website will be able to return unwanted items to their delivery driver.
A spokesperson for Tesco has confirmed IT are working on the issue, however, they still have no update on the ETA for a fix. The website and app have now been down for over 6 hours.
