Tesco announces big change to its Clubcard - and it starts from January

Tesco Clubcard is ending its subscription service with NOW TV.

It means cardholders will have one less option on where to spend their points.

The change will come into force on January 31, meaning you still have time to get the subscription service before Christmas.

Currently, Tesco customers can spend their Clubcard points on Now TV credit with it tripling in value (50p to £1.50 in Now TV credit for example), Kent Live reports.

The credit Tesco customers have previously spent Clubcard points on will still be valid until the expiration date supplied in the e-mail sent when exchanged.

Prior to this deal, there was nothing else of this value for streaming service available to exchange Clubcard points for.

It is possible to get triple value with Cineworld, however, these cinemas still remain closed to lockdown and will continue to do so in Kent once we enter Tier 3.

There are other Clubcard boost offers which will triple your points' worth including, Goldsmiths vouchers, railcards and magazine subscriptions.
