Tesco and Sainsbury's selling Lindt sharing tins for Christmas

Chocolate lovers are in for a real threat this Christmas after Lindt announced it is releasing its first ever sharing tin to rival Celebrations, Quality Street, Roses and Cadbury Heroes.

The Lindor Assorted Tin will include 32 individually wrapped truffles and tins are already available at Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Lindt stores for £15.

Smaller Lindt boxes have long been a popular gift at Christmas and you can get Lindt advent calendars to enjoy as you countdown to the big day, but this is the first time shoppers can buy assorted tins for the festive season.

Each tin includes a mixture of the iconic red-wrapped original Lindt balls, white chocolate, extra dark, hazelnut, milk and white and the new salted caramel flavour, which launched earlier this year.

Keep an eye out for bargains as some stores, including Tesco, are running an introductory £10 offer on tins. That means you can stock up now for Christmas, but you might want to put them somewhere out of reach so you’re not tempted to tuck in early.
