Shoppers can stock up on advent calendars early and save money on Cadbury, Galaxy, Mars and Malteser at two rival supermarkets.
Tesco and Morrisons have a half-price deal on big name chocolate brand advent calendars.
Usually, the 24-piece calendars are £2, but Tesco is selling them for £1 in store and online until November 12, while Morrisons' cut-price calendars must be ordered or bought by the end of November 7.
The calendars each contain 24 small pieces of chocolate, and there is plenty of variety to choose from, including Malteser, Milkybar and Dairy Milk.
The deals are available at Tesco, both online and in its supermarkets and stores, as well as Morrisons, again online or instore.
Tesco also has deals on selection boxes, with the Freddo and Santa selections available from £1, while Morrisons has limited edition 'Snowy' Cadbury fingers on sale for £1 too.
