Tesco and B&M shoppers in hysterics over unfortunate spelling mistake

Customers shopping at B&M have been left in hysterics over a misfortunate spelling blunder on a mug - the phrase 'you had one job' comes to mind.

The budget-friendly chain, which has a total of 57 stores in Scotland - including 15 across Glasgow - are best known for their bargain deals and latest trends.

Taking to Reddit, a shopper posted a picture of what should have been a 'Pisces' mug that they had spotted in their local store recently.

They joked: "Take a trip to your local B&M for your 'Pices' mug."

One replied: "LOL I might get this for my mom. She's a Pisces and a teacher so it will doubly annoy her" to which someone replied: "Do it. And a reaction post."

Another added: "They are always spelling things wrong at B&M. Someone needs to have a word with the proof-reader."

We're not quite sure this is what Tesco really meant... (Reddit)

It follows a similar spelling gaffe at Tesco recently with one notice sign leaving Reddit users in stitches.

Posting to the site, a Reddit user titled the post: “The floors were a bit sticky to be honest" followed by a picture of the sign which read: "Sorry, no bakery due to staff shortage. Apology for any incontinence."

Talking about the blunter, a Tesco spokesperson said: "A very unfortunate but amusing typo – we are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused though."

One joked: "Tesco really are taking the piss."

Another replied: "God I hope that was intentional."

A third then said: "When I first glanced at this, I thought there was a mouse in the top left cabinet. Need my eyes checked."

Have you noticed any funny spelling errors in your local stores?
