Tesco and Aldi slash prices on Easter Eggs as supermarket sales begin

A number of supermarkets have begun slashing prices on Easter eggs as we move passed the holiday and they look to empty shelvess.

Tesco and Aldi both opened this morning with some eggs going for considerably cheaper than they were just a few days ago with now a great time for chocolate lovers to stock-up.

In Aldi many Easter products have now been slashed by 50% while a small Creme Egg Easter Egg will set you back just €0.99.

While in Tesco they have put a vast array of their eggs on half price sale including favourites like a Mars chocolate Easter egg and a Dairy Milk chocolate egg.

Other stores around the country will also be flogging Easter eggs with customers best advised to check into their local stores for the very latest offers.

Supermarkets around the country are again operating on bank holiday opening hours today but will return to normal times from Tuesday onwards.
