Terry's chocolate orange launch mini eggs for Easter - and they cost just £1 from Tesco

The epitome of Christmas, if you thought January also meant the end of Terry's Chocolate Orange, you'll be pleased to know that's no longer the case, as the chocolate brand has now been spotted selling Easter versions of the popular festive treat.

Now available in mini egg form, Tesco has been spotted selling 80g bags of the mini eggs for £1, despite Easter still being three months away.

While we're yet to hear what the intriguing eggs taste like, we reckon they likely taste the same as the standard orange version, but in smaller form.

There's no word on whether any other retailers are set to sell them, but with Easter Sunday falling on April 12th 2020 this year, there's still plenty of time to get your hands on them.

Originally spotted on Instagram page NewFoodsUK, the mini orange chocolates have already amassed over 6,000 likes from egg-cited chocoholics, before being picked up by The Sun.

Elsewhere in supermarkets, other Easter chocolates are selling for a similar price, with an 80g bag of Cadbury mini eggs also costing you £1 at Tesco, while 100g packs of mini Lindt eggs are two for £3.

Meanwhile, a standard chocolate orange will cost you back a little more, at £2 a pack, although you do get the entire chocolate orange that you know and love. There's also a chocolate orange minis bag for £1.50, available all year round.
