Terry Rozier ‘thought the confetti was gonna drop’ after Sixers won

It took four tries but the Philadelphia 76ers finally did it, they finally knocked off the Boston Celtics for the first time in the 2018-19 season. The Sixers certainly got some help from the green, with Aron Baynes suffered an ankle injury and missing the majority of the game. Then Marcus Smart was booted soon after, spending the majority of the second half in the locker room.

The celebration after the tight 118-115 finish had fans in Philly on their feet, though there wasn’t anything elaborate planned, much to Terry Rozier’s surprise.

I thought the confetti was gonna to drop tonight. No, I did. It was a big win, not trying to take nothing away from them, but I thought the confetti was dropping tonight.

In addition to trolling Philly to reporters after the loss, Rozier took it to the Sizers. He scored 20-plus points (20) for the fourth time this season, the second time in the last four games, according to @Celtics Stats on Twitter.
