Terry Rozier, Daniel Theis cleared to play vs. Wizards

Per Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens, point guard Terry Rozier and center Daniel Theis have been cleared to play against the Washington Wizards on Friday. Both Rozier and Theis are expected to come off the bench for Boston against Washington.

While Rozier and Theis have returned to the Celtics lineup after nursing sore knees, Celtics center Aron Baynes is still attempting to battle back from a foot contusion that’s kept him out for nearly a month. A defensive anchor for Boston who has been instrumental to their success, Baynes could play Sunday when the Celtics face James Harden and the Houston Rockets at TD Garden.
