Terry McLaurin ready to help Dwayne Haskins during QB’s first start

The Ohio State bond between Terry McLaurin and Dwayne Haskins could prove critical for the latter during his first NFL start over the weekend.

That bond is a plus, but so is McLaurin’s approach, as seen in the tweet above from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Don’t forget the breakout No. 1 wideout’s skillset, either. Over seven games, McLaurin has caught 28 passes for 458 yards and five touchdowns, making the coaching staff look brilliant on at least one thing after making a point to hide the rookie during the preseason.

The matchup — a game against the Bills — isn’t an easy one for a rookie making his first start in November. McLaurin’s biggest task is finding a way to bail out his quarterback despite the defense knowing it’s the idea on the majority of plays.
