Terry McLaurin is in Odell Beckham-grade territory so far

Just how good has Washington Redskins rookie wideout Terry McLaurin been this year?

Odell Beckham Jr. good.

As seen in the note above from Pro Football Focus, McLaurin has posted the highest rookie wideout grade to date since Beckham himself.

McLaurin has done this on the back of 51 catches for 833 yards and seven touchdowns through just 13 appearances. As a rookie back in 2014, Beckham played 12 games, catching 91 passes for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns.

For greater context, PFF also notes that McLaurin ranks eighth among all wideouts with 250-plus routes run.

In other words, McLaurin is especially good for a rookie, but he’s also elite — so far — among the veteran players too. And it’s hard not to feel like he’s just getting started.
