Terry McLaurin is determined to ‘be a dominant receiver in this league’

In a year where there was little to be excited about for the Washington Redskins, rookie wide receiver Terry McLaurin stood as a bright light in an otherwise dark void. With an impressive start to his career, McLaurin made a name for himself not only among Washington faithful but across NFL circles as well.

Now, going into his second season in the league, he is determined to get better and become one of the best receiving threats in the NFL.

In order to do that, he knows it will take hard work and preparation, as well as a dedication to learning the new system being brought in by offensive coordinator Scott Turner. When talking to media members on Thursday, McLaurin admitted that he started his offseason work shortly after the 2019 season ended, meaning he got almost two full months of workouts in before the NFL world was shut down due to the coronavirus.

If we end up seeing the expected growth from Haskins, then it is easy to assume that McLaurin will be one of the most beneficial players from that development. If you give a star like Terry a QB who can get him the ball and let him go to work, the sky is the limit, and Pro Bowls are on the horizon.
