Terry McLaurin opened up about his sports hero recently, citing Marvin Harrison.
It’s hard to imagine Cris Carter was far down the list though.
Carter gave McLaurin a big endorsement recently in the form of the above tweet.
And while Redskins coaches have cited McLaurin’s skills on special teams as a surefire way he’ll have an impact, it isn’t too big of a stretch to think he’ll be out there in the base offense, too.
Not only does the Ohio State product have a suitable blend of traits, Paul Richardson hasn’t met expectations yet and there isn’t a guarantee Josh Doctson sees a big role after having his fifth-year option declined.
With a spread-it-around attack planned and McLaurin’s skill set, Carter could be more correct than most realize.
