Terry McLaurin could be a difference-maker from the opening kick

There’s a rookie for the Washington Redskins out of Ohio State University that is creating a lot of buzz so far this offseason. No, not quarterback Dwayne Haskins, but his running mate, Terry McLaurin.

McLaurin is a speedy receiver that was taken in the third round, and so far he is making waves on offense. NBC Sports Washington analyst Charley Casserly says that he can be a difference maker right away.

“The guy’s got legitimate speed. He can run by people, he’s a deep threat. But also, he has quickness,” said Casserly. “He has the ability to separate, which is something that Doctson doesn’t do.  So you like those things.”

With depth at the position relatively in question, it would be a huge bonus for the Redskins if they could receive some production from their 2019 draft class right away.

We all expect Haskins to eventually put on a show once he gets on the field, but it’s starting to look like his old college teammate could turn some heads from the opening kick.
