Terrifying moment thugs armed with huge knife raid convenience store

This is the terrifying moment armed thugs stormed a Tameside convenience store before pulling out a huge kitchen knife and raiding the till.

CCTV released by police shows the two men walking into the shop on Whiteacre Road in Ashton-under-Lyne with their faces covered and hoods up.

One of the men walks up to the counter and lifts his jacket, revealing a large silver blade hidden underneath.

Holding the weapon, he then clambers over the till area and appears to shout at someone before jumping back over and rushing towards the other end of the store.

Seconds later he returns, and appears to point the knife at someone behind the till area.
